Can Do Bariatric Surgery


Have you had bariatric surgery or considering having it?


It can be very overwhelming and confusing time. There are mixed emotions!


For those of you reading this and know my story, you know I have had bariatric surgery and released over 105kgs and have kept it off for over 2 years now!.


I wrote the book Can Do Bariatric surgery as a tool to help others who are ready to live their best life and let go of the excess weight, to improve overall health and wellbeing.


The surgery is the physical changes to your body that is a tool that kick starts the changes and the weight loss, however it is the food, exercise and mindset that helps you with long term results.


Food portions are changed for the long term and can take some time to adjust to, especially when eating out and eating foods that you enjoy.


Exercise is different after surgery. As your body changes you are able to do more and your posture changes, these are all exciting and can be so much fun as you learn how much more you can do.

Walking becomes easier and for many they develop a spring in their step.


Relationships also change. Relationship with yourself.


When you have days that are tough post surgery and you will, its life, take the time to remind yourself why you choose to have the surgery in the first place.


You decided this for your reasons and when you do that, you will find you connect with your motivation to keep taking actions.
